Lubricate hinges/springs in rear pop-up wing?
I had my rear wing refuse to come down automatically and throw a warning on the dash as I pulled off the highway, and it would not go all the way down until I held the manual button down for a few seconds. I popped it back up again and it seems like there are a lot of contact surfaces in the hinged struts - has anyone applied lubricant or cleaner (WD-40) to these struts, to help with this issue? The hinges and moving parts seemed completely dry and had no visible grease or lube.
I was thinking of using a dry lube, as I use on my mountain bike chain; they literally last for years with a single application and do fine in our extreme heat. Anyone else have suggestions?

I wouldn't put WD-40 on it, try the aerosol can of liquid silicone, its a silicone lubricant but used for a lot of automotive things (door hinges, etc).
