Default MMI display stuck up

MMI screen stuck in the up position with engine off. Seems like it thinks a CD is still in the slot even tho all have been ejected. Cannot get to radio or other functions. The screen is locked

Have you tried pressing the close button for the LCD screen on the top of the dashboard to see if it closes? If it doesnt, either the fuse for the LCD motor is gone or the motor is not working.

Odd; maybe go old school and disconnect the battery for 30 min (hit the brake pedal a couple of times to discharge it a little quicker) and see if it was just a electronic hiccup?

Have you tried an MMI reset?
