They hardly ever test the Prestige, or pit it against competitors in online reviews - All the others are OK, but I wasn't at all sold until I saw that S-line exterior, 20" wheels, and sport suspension! Maybe it has something to do w/ me being relatively young (34), but the "Regular" A7 isn't even in the same class... JMO

The pictures are of a White Prestige with special order wheels and innovation package but then the last section reveals the actual test car:
"The A7 test car starts at $59,250, and with the Prestige Package, 20-inch wheels and the special Moonlight Blue Metallic paint, stickered out at $68,630."

Only slightly off topic but I caught this article in the New York Times http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/15/bu...ypes.html?_r=1
It is about brand stereotypes in China. Describing the Audi stereotype the article says
But no vehicle in China has developed as ironclad a reputation as the Audi A6, the semiofficial choice of Chinese bureaucrats. From the country’s southern reaches to its northern capital, the A6’s slick frame and invariably tinted windows exude an aura of state privilege, authority and, to many ordinary citizens, a whiff of corruption.
“Audi is still the de facto car for government officials,” said **** Zhi, a Beijing taxi driver who has been plying the capital’s gridlocked streets for 18 years. “It’s always best to yield to an Audi — you never know who you’re messing with, but chances are it’s someone self-important.”
It seems compared to the whiff of corruption that Audi emanates, BMW is just rakishly corrupt!
