Default On my 2nd Audi

Hi all.
I've been on this forum for years, always lurking and reading, but today I am posting and asking for a bit of help.

After 4 years of owning a 2011 A5 Premium plus, I bought a 2014 A7 Prestige & picked it up Friday, Feb 8th.
I kept the A5.

I even got both fobs, owners manual & nice packet in comes in, the window sticker!
This thing is beyond loaded!

So after reading my manual, I can't figure out how to turn one the main dome light, (teh individual ones are obvious) or activate the passenger side mirror when in reverse.
Yeah, I know what to do, as I have in in my A5, but It doens't seem to work in my A7.

I don't have auto window up, I guess I gotta get OBD11, or some near me that has VAGS to fix that.

Any ideas on the dome light & passenger mirror?
The past pic I circled in red the light I am trying to find a switch for.

Oh yeah, the alleged 640 watt Bose does not seem like 640 (I used to work as tech support and did installs for an audio company, a/d/s/, so I am versed on this and what 640 should sound like), so how to get it a tad bit louder as it seems my A5 gets louder than my A7.

Thanks!

The passenger side outside rear-view mirror only tilts down in reverse, if the rotary mirror switch in the driver door armrest is in the "right mirror" (2 o'Álock) position. No idea why this restriction, it makes no sense to me, just like the restriction that the mirror heaters only work if that same switch is in the 12 o'clock position.

Hi, thanks for the reply. As I said, i know this from my A5.
But for some reason I don't see how to adjust it & make it work on this car.

Yeah, I read that in the manual, but it seems only the driver side LED illuminates.
and, there should be a way to turn in on in car, no?

Thanks for the reply.

The two buttons to the left of the sunroof lever are to turn on the dome lights. The one marked "REAR" turns the rear dome light on and off, the other one does the same for the front dome light.

Again, thanks for the answer, but it is painfully obvious & what I already know.
Those buttons don't turn on the middle spot that looks like a light. Is that even a light?

Yes, it is a light and in my car, those buttons do turn the dome lights on and off. You may have a burned out bulb.

The button circled in the below pic turns on the big center light. If it is not working you may have a burnt out bulb

OK, so I guess I was right, & I guess my center LED's are toast, which is odd.

Thanks all
