Default MY A7 V1.0 (H&R, S7 RIMS)

Guys... sorry to disappoint... no green with grey stripes.

Here are some quick pics of V1 which I just got today.

Pics look good... but... my god... do not do justice to the new edge in person.

The car went from a 9 to a 15.

#1 These are the same rims on the A7 except I had them sent out and for a FULL POLISH. They stripped all the paint and polished these babies and put a brushed aluminum finish on the inside.

With the Silver A7 they scream.

#2 H&R springs.... beautiful drop... and very noticeable... I have no idea why anyone would want a bigger drop..

This car just went from beautiful to drop dead... even the guys at the shop were in awe.

Gorgeous. Nice job!
Was getting the rims stripped a big or tricky job?
I have an s7 on order and been lukewarm about the rims. But
this ttreatment really makes them pop.

wasn't a tricky job because someone else was doing it! it's pretty straightforward

best place to find is a custom shop that does motorcycles, custom rides etc.

it took a week and cost $440

thanks to quattring i got a great place in OC called Magmasters.

1 more

no rubbing

I would not get anything other than the H&R springs... a little more road feel but not much more...

definitely feel that it sits lower... guys at the Gym tonight were tripping.. .they saw it before... stock setup... radically more agressive and sexy.

2 shots of the rims just after I picked them up from Magmaster.

Notice the brushed interior.

FYI... this is polished NOT chrome... it looks very different in person.... sort of white metal.... there is no coat on it.... however i did put a coat of blackfire sealant on it when i got them home.... it is a nano-sealant that will protect them...

the only down side here is you need to maintain them... at least weekly to keep the shine... it is worth it.

Just give them a spray with sonex or ironx and you are gold.

Thanks - they really look great. And you're right - MUCH nicer than chrome - more elegant & substantial looking, perfect fit to the car. I'm now seriously considering going this route when my S7 shows up. And as re. keeping them up, with a phantom black on the way, I'm obviously already
committed to serious maintenance. (Last 4 cars were black, so I know what I'm in for).

Thanks for the details and photos. Pulling that stunning sliver A7 into the local supermarket parking lot must be a great feeling!

Looks just as "plain" as you complained about other's stock A7s being... For all intents and purposes, your vehicle is still stock.
