My new A7!!
Hello everyone
I've been a regular lurking for ages. Always admired the A7 black edition and have finally pulled the trigger on one. I'm in the UK, and this is my first A7. A 2015 facelift model, was never sure about those exhaust tail pipes but they've grown on me, still think oval would have been better though.
I'll post some more thought on the car after some time. This car attracts so many looks and comments it's ridiculous. Here are some pics, daytona grey is the only way to go for me, love it. And a pic of my previous car, the Q7. Your thoughts appreciated.
Had my fair share of problems from audi though, but that's another whole story!

Many thanks to you all
Love the coasting mode, that silky gearbox, and the ridiculous 42mpg on London traffic, not the 47 quoted but I'll take it, engine still breaking in. It's also just so nice the thing parks itself! No excuse for the Mrs curbing those wheels anymore, she's been warned to use that feature all the time!
Had to satisfy my ocd and service it, every 3000 to 5000 miles. Cleanest underbody I've ever seen. But audi have one silly bolt which only aliens have tools for just to take off the under tray to drop the oil! Audi obviously only want you to go to them for any work. I wish I took a pic of it

It should be 47! But yeah I use the coasting mode whenever I can, I like it. Thrashed it on the motorway today to give it its weekly thrash to clear out the dpf, which involves driving it at about 2.5k revs continously for 20 minutes once warm, then redlining it once in a while.
The power is so instant, really nice. The rs engine would be too much for me

Hi
Just looking at swapping the mrs' 2011 a6 for the a7, did you go for the biturbo ? I remember driving one back in 2012 I think and that was a beast. Depending on the cost we'll go one of 218/272/320 (I know which I'd prefer!)

Lovely looking motor that.
You might have swayed my mind to go with the same colour.
I've been looking at A7 BITURBO for well over a year now and need to make the plunge.
Seen an A7 black edition, same colour 2015 model which I might go for.
Had black so need a change of colour. Already have a white car, so decision time has been around Silver, Tornado Grey or Daytona !!
Love all three colours.
Enjoy the ride.
I want to get mine tuned so will do some searching on this forum as keen to hear peoples experiences on tuning.
Thanks
