Default A new day.. a new code!

Picked the car up this morning from the garage after it being in for a week because of oil leak from timing chain cover. I noticed on the way hom there was a warning triangle for the engine start/stop function. I cleared a load of stored codes and this one lingers still, The transmission was out and all the worked to access the timing chain.

10219 - Sensor for Cylinder Head Temperature

A bit more digging and it turns out it's the cylinder temp sensor issue. I found the problem I think!







Now I can't figure out where to connect it back

Problem solved, came back down to look at it with a bigger torch and found the connector where it belongs, all the etka drawings show it much higher up beside the rocker cover, but its much lower down on the front of the engine as you can see just about circled in red:

At least it was in easy fix. One less fault code to worry about

Thanks, car is finally back driving normally, just need to check for oil leaks in a week or so to make sure their repair was actually good!
