Oil Change
Took advantage over the weekend to get a few things done to the A7. Gave her a wash and swapped out the 2 trunk light bulbs to LED's, not sure why the rest of the car had LED's and the truck didn't. I also changed the oil, first oil change that I have done on this car, its been dealer serviced up to now. Used a MANN filter and Castrol EDGE 5W-40 SPT oil that meets the VW 502.00 spec that I bought on Amazon. I used my oil extracting tool (WEST MARINE Manual Oil Extractor - 6.5L | West Marine) that I use when changing the oil on the boat. Found the cap for the dipstick tube (now ordering an oil dipstick) removed it and extracted the oil through the tube. Then removed the filter housing and filter with a 36 mm socket. I did however notice that once I removed the filter that one of the little feet on the center cage that clips into the filter cover was broken. I went back to the car and looked in the filter housing bore and found the little tab that was broken off. I did a quick search this morning and couldn't fine the center cage anywhere I only found a replacement oil filter cap at ECS (https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-A7-C7...ice/ES2998988/)
My question is besides going to an Audi Dealer does anyone know where a replacement center cage can be purchased?

Hey Raven, Im also confused by the licence plate lights - why on earth they did not put LEDs there? Anyway, is it hard to replace? I heard a guy that had a ton of trouble with changing the lights to LEDs, he told me that he had to do some coding because the car went crazy after the switch (probably the ecu had issues with a different resistance from the LEDs?), but that was on 4f generation audi a6.
and 2nd thing: I was wondering how to check the oil level (3.0tfsi, except in the MMI), because Ive found the dipstick tube, but no "stick in it", only the cover ??

Search eBay using "Audi Oil Filter cap". There are 135 listings, all with pictures. Take a look and see if you spot the part with the missing foot. Check your cap for a part number and check for compatibility.

As far as the oil level, there are dipsticks available. I'm ordering this one from ECS https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-A7-C7-3.0T/ES2960428/

thanks for the "dipstick"! I wasn't sure how do You call it in English, so now that I know its a dipstick, its much easier to find
