Depends...

What price?
What maintenance history?

This. If the price is right and all the maintenance done correctly then it's not that high of a mileage. Could be all highway mileage.

I bought my 2012 A7 in 2016, 4 years old, with 100K miles. I've driven it another 40K in 2.5 years. It's had a few issues, but they are well built cars.

Did you do the timing belt replacement (and related parts) and if so, how much did that set you back?

Why would you do a timing job? The 3.0T has a timing chain and the only thing you really might want to change are the tensioners, IF they are out of tolerance. If not, then you don't touch things.

seems a good price for a car. You also failed to disclose any details on the model it is: Prestige, Premium Plus...Also, are there any options: driver assistance package, night vision, etc...

I used the term loosely, belt/chain, but when I had to do it on my Porsche Cayenne Turbo S is because the sprockets and teeth (along with associated hardware) wear over time and causes gap; while the chain may never need changing, doesn't mean a timing job will never be needed.

I know the Audi uses a timing chain but the rule of thumb is to have it checked/serviced or replaced around 120K and was wondering if this was the case too? Every case is different and unique when it comes to chain systems, but the components is what needs work and curious on the average age or issues some may be having. Didn't mean to thread-jack, was just curious, especially since you have a decent mileage 7.
