Long time Audi fan and just ordered a 2017 A7. The dealer stated 8 to 10 weeks for delivery. It have been already one week and it is killing me! So for now I read the brochure over and over again to see if I missed anything. Followed up with endless Youtube tutorials.

Thanks! Picking the options were definitely the easy part. The interior color and wood trim was really difficult. I went and forth between nougat brown or black with the layered walnut. Then I saw the flint with the birch online and was in love.

Love it. Especially the rims. I think the flint gray interior looks great, but it will need up keep to maintain the appearance. Invest in a good leather cleaner and conditioner and it will look like new for years

Since you did place the order for the car, might as well sit back and relax, it is too late to change it. You have bought yourself a fantastic car and you will be very happy with it when it arrives.

Thanks. I heard that about the gray. Was considering handing people a towel to sit on before allowing them in the car. Haha

He he. Dye transfer from jeans are a PITA. That's why I went for dark interiors in my A7 and A4.

Yea. I've heard about jeans leaving a trail. Decided I'm going to hand out nice soft white robes for travelers to wear before they are allowed in the car. Haha

Back in the early days of the C7 many people ordered their cars with the options they wanted. There weren't too many on the lot at the time and the cars on the lot were low optioned and priced to sell.

I saved a bunch of sites from the early threads. They may not all be valid but they'll give you plenty to look at while you're waiting for your ship to come in.
