Default Power slides - car behavior when exceeding the tires limits

Who has taken their car to the limit and well over?

Watching some of those supercar or performance car idiot crashes on youtube makes me wonder (and shudder) how tricky our cars are to keep under control when the tires let go.

Is there any wicked tail snap back characteristic to be concerned about or are our AWD Audi's very predictable and controllable pretty much in any tire letting loose situation?

My winter tires have broken loose on wet roads on a corner at high speed and it's very controlled with the AWD. I've also broken loose after going through a car wash and the same thing very controlled.

Not unless you turn ESC (traction and stability control systems) to Off. Which is not a great idea on AWD cars unless you regularly participate in the WRC. But with ESC on or in Sport mode (which will allow some slip), they have both high traction levels yet are very benign when they start to let go. Assuming you haven't ridiculously over-tyred them. But that applies to any car.
