RS7 chrome vs black grille
 

Hi all,
I have a grey A7, i'm trying to get a mesh grille like the RS7, whats your opinion on the chrome vs the black grille sold on Ebay as far as the look goes?

I would go all black, and if you can, plastidip or wrap the outer edge black as well. The other is just toooo much chrome.

yea, thats what i ordered, its all black except for the emblem. I think rs5 has the chrome, and having it on the a7, might indicate its a rs5 from afar.

as we PMd earlier, my RS7 grille is gloss black with chrome rings and trim, however I recently blacked out (3M tape) the vertical aspects of the trim, so only the top and bottom of the trim (&rings) reveal chrome

Dang, that's a good look. I have some chrome near the fog lights, but I don't think it'll interfere with the look too much. Thanks for the reply!

Those aren't fog lights, those are the radar units for the adaptive cruise. The trick is replacing the grille without bumping the radar units and getting them misaligned. That's a ~$600 repair....
