Default Spoiler Fault, Doesn't retract

Last week I went over 85 MPH and got a fault light up on my spoiler. The spoiler now doesn't retract, even when car turns off or crusies at low speeds. So now my spoiler is permanently up. I have replaced the module in the rear that controls the spoiler but no dice. Their is nothing blocking the spoiler either just doesn't retract, still moves though.

Does holding down the dash button for the spoiler make it go down?

It doesn't seem like it, maybe when I first press it. Then any press after the first one it completely ignores the button
