Default Sport package

Anyone know the real differences between the A7s with the sport package?
Obvious are:
- larger wheels and tires
- paddle shifters

The car appears to be lowered, any idea how much? Any change in springs, shocks, sway bars, etc...?

Lower stance, probably only a 1 inch gap left. 3 spoke steering wheel which include paddles, and stiffer suspension in select Dynamic mode.

Incorrect if you are in the US.

There is no change in suspension when in Dynamic mode because there is nothing to change. A7's in the US don't have air suspension.

Aren't the shocks and springs different in the Sports Package? We measured a non Sport Package and Sport Package A7 and the gap seems smaller...What actually happens in Dynamic Mode vs Regular car wise?

The sport package uses similar suspension components but they are tuned for a firmer ride and the chassis sits lower as you noted.

In the US C7 A6/A7, Dynamic mode changes the following:

1) The variable steering effort is increased across the range of speeds.
2) The engine throttle mapping is changed to increase accelerator pedal response.
3) The transmission mapping allows each gear to hold for a longer time when the tiptronic shifts up or down
4) If you have ACC (Audi Cruise Control), the acceleration sensitivity is increased when keeping the car in front at the preset distance as set on the ACC stalk.

You can mix and match these operations by customizing the Individual mode in the MMI.

Note: Items 2 and 3 are identical to placing the gear shift lever into the "Sport Mode". Also, as Aquarian pointed out, unlike our Euro friends, for example, the A6/A7 do not have any adjustable suspension option in the U.S.
All S6/S7 have adjustable air suspension available and the B8 (A4/S4) series have adjustable suspension as an option. We C7 owners were left out on this one.
