Guys,
I need some suggestions. I'm moving to a different state and will be renting uhaul or penske truck. I was thinking to get a car carrier along with it but penske & uhaul doesnt have the carrier which would support 2016 A7. Can you guys recommend me something?

Why did U-haul state it couldn't carry the A7? Are they saying it is too low? I worked there 20 years or so ago and never dealt with cars not fitting on the auto transport carrier that you drive up on. You wouldn't be able to use the tow dolly due to the weight of the car.

It looks like Penske has cheaper rates for the truck but their car carrier doesnt support a7. can i rent the car carrier (auto transport) from uhaul and use it with penske truck?

You will need the bottom one which will tow up to 5290 lbs. Yes, you can rent the truck and carrier from 2 different places. The only concern I'd have is that the A6 may be too low and scrape going from the ramp to the trailer. That may be what they are talking about saying it won't fit. There are some things you can do to help with that though like load with the trailer on a flat and the ramps up a hill or get the front of the trailer as high as possible to reduce the ramp angles at the back.
