2013 A7 - opened the sunroof all was fine. Then when I hit the switch to close it, nothing. Got back in my garage and tried the switch, heard a click but no movement on the sunroof. After searching the forums the next morning : 1) check the track, seemed okay, nothing blocking and everything was inline. 2) checked the fuse B7, looked intact. When I tried the switch, I could hear a click in the head unit. I took the cover off but couldn't see anywhere where a "crank" could go (also didn't find the Allen wrench/crank in the fuse box). Okay, decided I will have to take it to the dealer to check out the next day. Get in the car the next morning, and the sunroof worked and closed. No weird sounds. Could this be a battery issue? Any ideas?

If you are hearing the click like the power is being sent to the motor to close then I suspect its a wire harness problem at the motor or the motor itself is starting to go bad. Electrical gremlins are always a PITA to trace down when they only show up intermittently.
