Thanks for the help with this. I finally got the rear lighting on my Q5 working the way I wanted, and the way I think it should be. Much appreciated! I am thrilled about the results and it wouldn't have been possible without your help. Thanks.

Glad i could be of help, its what this forum is supposed to be all about. And again i cant take all the credit, it was originally pioneered, by David at Audi enthusiasts. He had originally done the coding for me, but i could.nt get a hold of him when i wanted to change them back, so i had to start tinkering. I just built off of someone else's work. And alot of credit to Fdot also, he helped out a lot.

On the tail light re-coding for Euro Spec, below are the (stock) values from my Central Convenience module (from generating a map report):
Code:
Channel -> Value 195-> 134 196-> 166 197-> 6 198-> 38 199-> 51201 200-> 51233 201-> 51201 202-> 51233 203-> 9 204-> 41 205-> 13 206-> 45 207-> 6 208-> 38 209-> 51219 210-> 51251 229-> 51400
A further question I have has to do with whether the new value is entered OR added to the current setting for the channel being updated.
Thanks in advance

Hey Stevial, thanks a lot for the info; I was able to use the video (on youtube) to code the hatch to open via the remote. I had to make some minor modifications - it appears the module/config is a bit different on the 2013 A7.
On the tail light re-coding for Euro Spec, below are the (stock) values from my Central Convenience module (from generating a map report):
If channels 207 and 208 are for the left and right brake lights respectively, the stock behavior of both being used for indicator and brake (Left and Right) means there is a typo in your PDF (which lists coding 6 AND 38 = FUNCTION AS BRAKE AND INDICATOR FOR LEFT SIDE ONLY. My assumption is that 38 is the stock value for RIGHT SIDE ONLY.. (This is based on what I see on my '13 A7..so I may be wrong, since yours is a '12?).
A further question I have has to do with whether the new value is entered OR added to the current setting for the channel being updated.
Thanks in advance

You may be right, could be a typo or the 13 could be coded slightly different, and the new value is entered not added

I wanted Something that looked a little different - This was originally done by david at Audienthausists.com , But i wanted to change it a little, the first video is first coding that David did, and the 2nd is the coding that i did. the major change is the indicator when the rear fog lights and activated and you have the rear brakes lights on.

Rear brake lights on
Nope, you dont have to drive with rear fogs on to get that effect.
The Coding is not that Simple - there are a couple of steps, but you have to very very very careful, when you start changing these particular codes - they start to effect other rear lighting codes for the car. I am not saying this to be deterrent, i have had all day experiences setting back codes the way the should be. PM me and i will send you the diagram i made up a small sketch to map the lighting channels and instructions on how to change the coding -

I saw your post about rear lights and I thought to message you.
I've got a C64F which has rear brake lights issues.
Once I turn the ignition on (without starting the engine) than I can see the rear lights are working perfectly when pressing the brake pedal. But once I start the engine the brake lights are constantly on regardless of pressing the brake pedal or not.
Any thoughts on that, how to reset/ resolve?
Brake pedal switch is new, I checked that, had no problem at all before until programmer did something.
