Default Will a bike fit?

I'm considering an A7 for my next Audi.

I ride my bike a lot, but don't want to put a rack on top of the car.

Will a bike fit in the cargo area of the A7 with the seats folded down?

Thanks so much.

PS: I'm torn between 3 colors: Quartz Gray, Oolong Gray and Phantom Black. Would love to hear opinions!

Yes a bike should fit with the seats folded down, but you should put a sheet on the cargo floor so that you don't get grease on it.

I have a 2012 A7 with a Quartz Gray exterior, a black leather interior and dark walnut trim. I love the color combination. I also was torn between Quartz Gray, Oolong Gray and several of the black colors offered by Audi, but I chose the Quartz Gray because it appears to look cleaner then the darker colors.

I do a lot of biking and I can get two adult sized road bikes in my A7 with the rear seats folded down and the two parcel shelf pieces removed. Both bikes fit without removing their wheels. I have the floor mat made for the A7 and use a moving blanket in between the two bikes so nothing gets scratched or greasy. Works great.

I am also in the process of choosing color. Originally I thought Phantom Black, but everyone on this site seems to warn against black because it's so hard to keep looking clean. I've seen Quartz when it's filthy and it still looks pretty clean from 2 feet away.

I think the A7 shows off its lines and contours better with lighter colors. So now I'm deciding between Quartz and Ice Silver, leaning towards Ice.

The car looks damn good in every single color though, so any "mistake" on color selection will be minimal. (:

I can fit my road bike in the back of my S5 with the seats down (front wheel off) so it'll definitely fit in the A7.

My Mountain Bike in Large, fits with no problem. I don't even have to take off the front tire. Love it!
