I just bought my 2014 A7 Prestige sport yesterday and it has Perelli P zero summer tires. I

Live in Chicago and will definitely need to buy winter tires with 18 or 19 inch wheels. Two questions, what do you recommend, 18 inch or 19 inch and does anybody have a used set for sale that would look nice in the Chicago area?

I'm in western NY and get about the same amount of snow as Chicago. I went to tire rack and got a set of dark 17" rims and tires. The reasoning is that it gives me more protection from potholes and there are more choices and lower prices when shopping for 17" snows.




They looked too plain so I added some wheel rim tape.



Last winter was mild with only a couple of storms and I ended up using a set of 20" Conti DWS 06's all winter.
