@AA7 @chicagoA6 be optimistic, I was initially promised delivery towards the end of December (4 months after placing the order) and here we go, 2 months later, the car is here. The color is amazing. I was worried that it is light and brownish but none of that was true. The color is glorious grey and looks fantastic. I am glad that I didn't go with Vesuvius Grey when I found that it is almost black and my concerns were correct.

Unfortunately, it has been raining here since I picked the car up and the car is dusty and dirty. Anyways, here is a couple of pictures when it was on the hauler.

I will definitely keep you posted as soon as I hear back from the dealership! I spoke to him yesterday and he said 1-2 weeks it should be ready for pickup.

Got the call from the dealership!! It will be ready for pick up on Wednesday 11/14/18!!!

Here is the timeline:

6/22/18 placed the order at dealership
9/17/18 acknowledged Audi order is starting to move(ordered)
9/23/18 went into production (build)
10/17/18 production is finished and is being transported to Emden (European port)
11/9/18 arrived at US port (us port)
11/14/18 ready for pick up at DCH Millburn Audi - NJ

I hope all of you have a similar time line and get your A7 really soon as well!!!!

So 5 days from port to dealership... I asking my sales specialist about how the cars are moved from port to dealership and he said for special orders (which ours are) its moved by car carrier which is faster than train. Train is used for dealer inventory cars.

I'll keep my fingers crossed to have ours Thanksgiving weekend. It's due to arrive 11/19 in the port of Houston.

For the ones how picked their A7s, does it support Wireless Apple CarPlay? I am struggling with mine since one of the guys in the A8(D5) forum noted that his supports Wireless Apple CarPlay. & it doesn't make any sense for me that A8 support and A7 don't!
