Default 2019 Audi A7 and A8 at the NAIAS Charity Preview

So I went to the charity preview and we had a great time though it was disappointing that we could not even sit in both the new A7 and A8 for some reason and I am escalating this complaint with few other people to Audi headquarters because the corporate representative only opened the doors for us to see inside while the car was turning around on the turntable. She was rude and didn't care that customers paid a lot of money for the black tie event and are customers that are interested in higher end cars especially Audi A7 and A8 and if Audi wants to sell these they should be showing them off more. Heck even Mercedes had a CLS and top of the line S63 AMG open for us to sit in. The interior is very advance in both A7 and A8 and the pictures don't do justice. The new generation A7 is a stunner and has more presence then the current A7 and even the CLS which we saw later that was a bit droopy in appearance. I am very happy they kept the same silhouette of the current A7 and made it wider a bit. I do however still love my facelift 2016 A7 and probably will add the new generation S7 or RS7 next year to the garage. The back end is really cool with the new spoiler being up. I had a picture of it but for some reason it was accidentally deleted so I added that from link above. The new A8l is very big and handsome looking and my father loves it and may replace his 2012 A8L with this one in a year or two fully loaded and better looking rims. I like how they made the new A8 look like the D3 with lower stance and sloping back compared to the chunkier current D4 A8.

Thanks for the pics. I am really hoping to see the A7 at the NY Auto show in March. I was looking to get the C7 version. But the C8 A7 seems to be a stunner. The tech and the interiors are mind blowing. Really looking forward to the new touch screen interface.

I hope the new models have better seats. Audi tends to fall short in seat comfort and quality when compared to some of the competitors, unfortunately.

I honestly find the seats in both our 2016 S7 and 2018 A4 to be very comfortable. The S7 has made two round trips from Boston to Orlando and it was a very comfortable ride.

A8 seats (especially the ones with Valcona leather and the massage function) are spectacular. My old 2012 A6 seats were terrible. The new A7 is supposed to get the massage seats as well, so that may be an option for those of us who love the short-wheelbase A8 (which is no longer sold in the US, except in the S8).
