The order guide for US/Canada has not been released yet. Anyone hearing anything on release date?

Yes. I had an Audi salesman call me to see if I wanted to trade my 2014 A6 for a 2018. I told him I want the 2019 A7 and I want the order sheet. He checked and said it would be available on June 1. He said he would send it then. We'll see

One good news; Matrix LED lights approved for USA per A8 Forum (but not the Laser lights, as yet).

Don't know if Rear wheel steering will be offered.

Audi seems to be offering very limited A8 options in US initially; hopefully that wouldn't spread to A7 release in US.

The A7 in the US will launch with 4-5 fixed "configs" and limited color and trim packages. What I'm not clear on is if those 4-5 configs are fixed and cannot be added to with additional options like, say, B&O stereo or rear steer.

I did also see the order guide for the new A8 and like Pagla6 said the Matrix LED are available so should see them in the A7 in one of the configs

Here's the 2019 order guide for the whole Audi line. Prices to come later (which makes this kind of useless, but it's something I guess)

On quick read, it is a relief to know that A7 release will not be as limited as A8.

PP+ and Prestige seem well equipped; interior choices are somewhat limited and didn't see "rear steering" option. (Rear wheel steering offered on A8 and Q7, so not illegal in US).

One big surprise; Prestige trim has "HD Matrix LASER headlights," hope that is not an error. Laser lights are apparently not legal in US.

Thanks.

I thought Laser Headlights were available previously in the USA in the 2017 Audi R8?

Nevertheless...It's exciting that the Matrix Headlights are finally going to be available here in the USA.

And...we are finally getting wireless phone charging...like the rest of the world.

[QUOTE=chucky0731;25164190]I thought Laser Headlights were available previously in the USA in the 2017 Audi R8?

Almost all reviews of A7 so far had indicated that Laser lights are not approved in US.

Maybe R8 V10 Plus model has an exemption due to very low sales volume.

Interestingly, Laser lights option is not being offered on 2019 A8 or A6; so will have to wait to see if it is not an error!
