Just picked up the 2005 A8L listing of options and colors. Here's what the options are- no prices yet:

do you know how "comfort door closer" works, what it costs?

I bet it allows the door to auto seal when you close the door. This prevents it from being slammed shut. My 91 Acura Legend Coupe had the option. You shut the door and the last inch or so the door would auto close. A latch would grab the door and pull it so it would shut completely. Four door Legends did not have this option, only the coupes because the doors where so big. Pretty cool option when you where walking away and just pushed the door closed. It would always shut and lock.

They forgot my front and back door!

Similar to the trunk closer I would assume.

My bosses 500 does the same thing.

Does that mean we could see auto door opening like the trunks?

I want a comfort hood opener and closer and a tooth brush in the glove box! :-)

Got that right Greenie. Just like the trunk automatic pull down. A great idea for opening beer cans!

The '05 will also be a 4.2L, 8 cylinder 5 v, with a 336 HP engine. I think that's 5 more ponies than the '04.
