$275 for an alignment?

What did they do?
I was quoted $200 for an alignment last week, I had my tie rod ends changed out. I had a free alignment from Just Tires (cause I had it done about 3 months ago, good for six months) so I brought it over there. For the most part, toe is very easy to adjust, but if they had to move the subframe, that would take some time. The rear wheels are adjustable too.
But I imagine for the most part only the toe needs to be adjusted. The control arms make up the geometry of the front end, there are four. I'll have to review how it is adjusted.
Do you know what they actually adjusted?

wheels up and wheels down
Dealer said that it is done with the wheels loaded and unloaded. I don't know what they did for three hours. I just know I needed it. But maybe not $275 worth. b

My local garage convinced me that they can do as good of a job for $30...
I was going to take mine to the dealer after I noticed a pull to the left even after I properly inflated all tires. I was quoted $200 for the allignment at the dealer. My faithful garage who loves to work on Audis said that if they can't get it dead-on straight, they won't charge me. So, I let them try, and the car drive as straight as new now. They only charged me $29.99, and gave me a nice computerized print-out.
