01 a8l radio/phone/blutooth conversion/addition
I have an 01 a8L symphony radio.
the car used to have a cellular phone in it.
I would like to either add Bluetooth to run my phone/music from my nokia, or make the phone jack usable to connect via media/audio plug for audio only.
would also be great to be able to use the phone button on my steering wheel to make it transfer over.
any help would be appreciated!
thanks in advance.

In the end, for me, going with a Kenwood dual din 7" touch screen head unit was the best option.
For about 700.00, you get full Bluetooth options to use your phone hands free, stream music, and the audio is excellent.
I've got a thread on here with some photos of it installed. Looks stock to most folks, and is a very clean install the way I did it. (Used A6 dual DIN adapter plate, shaved down to fit the A8 opening.)

I just purchased a pioneer avic-z140bh and need to install it.
pain in the ars to try to use another kit.
I will just create my own kit with particle board...just like the old days of custom installs when I was MUCH younger.
were you able to get the steering wheel buttons to still work? I cannot seem to get that going even with the adapter. NOTHING shows that it will work with the a8...only a6 and a4. :/
