'03 S8 transmission..vs. 02/01 S8

We've rebuilt 4 S8 tranny so far. All four was 01' and they all had blown reverse piston.
One of them had broken Clutch A and clutch C basket too. Another had excessive wear on clutch A and D + the blown F piston. They were between 53K=110K miles. We've rebuilt more than 20 5HP24A and none of them was 02' or newer.

I'm going to say no
It's just further away from it's death.
Don't think you can get an 02 or 03 and not have the transmission go bad at some point. It will happen.

Any other commonalities, like severe operation such as track use, poor maintenance, etc?
What were the symptoms before the failures?
