0w30 GC worth it
Whats oil are you guys using .
My 2001 manual states to use 0w30 or 5w30.
Many of the Audi and VW Techs say I should use M1 0w40 or Castrol 5w40
autozone now has a surplus of Castrol GC 0w30,5w40 5w30 and M1 0w40 but I wanted to see what everybody uses

Greg, does the Castrol 5W30 meet 502.00?
The other oils are fine as they meet 502.00. The OW30 might give a slight benefit to those in extremely cold areas.

but the 0w 30 covers them all along with
the castrol 5w40
and mobil 1 0w40
but
the ow30 comes highly recommended on most of the Oil forums
