Depends on who 'they' are
In CA I was told it was 'just a really big speeding ticket' - not wreckless driving - I asked and the officer stated "if I thought you were driving wreckless I'd give you a ticket for that too, this is just a speeding ticket.
That in regards to 125 in a (previously) 55 on an empty 805 in CA.
I went to traffic school on that one.
