1998 A8 A/C Low Side Charging Port

There is none, but some folks remove the pressure switch...
and charge thru that using an adapter. It seems to work for them.
The pressure switch is mounted under the plastic cover near the firewall on US driver (left) side. I also saw a link months ago about adapter sources. Try a search...or maybe Audipages.

Behind the front-fender coming out of the AC radiator ? ...
Pop the hood en look down between the fender and the AC radiator. There should be a filling-thingy sticking out.
On my facelift A8 it's located at the hight of the passenger-side headlight, about 5 inches from the headlight towards the middle of the car. The plug stands proud of a piece of tubing in front of the radiator.
At least, that's how it works on the facelift A8 but also on my trusty 1993 Audi 100 V6.

Re: There is none, but some folks remove the pressure switch...
I believe the correct "low side" port is the one located near the brake master cylinder. Unfortunitally the fitting is not compatible with the "quick disconnect" fittings available with R134 refrigriant. There must be an adapter for this. Anyone know about this?
