1998 Audi A8 quattro potential purchase..questions inside
a friend of mine is looking at a 1998 a8 quattro 4.2 with 73k. asking 18,900 for the car. i am not familiar with the a8 and potential problems associated with the car. Any adivice or things to look out/ask for are appreciated. also does anyone know if wheels from a 2000s4 would fit this car

A 73k mile A8 at that price probably has not had the 90k service. Plan on another $2000-$3000 for a timing belt/water pump, trans flid change, as well as some common leaking gaskets that usually come at this time. I would personally opt for a car that has had all of these services but possibly a few more miles at that price or lower.
