Default 1998 Audi A8 won't start till 3rd try
My A8 turns over fine but will not start unless I turn the ingition off and then crank for a few seconds and I have to do that 3 times before it will start. On the 3rd try, it starts everytime like clock work. Please help. It does have 176,000 miles on it.

Try without cranking ign on/of 3 times then start. If it starts then you have fueling problem or leaky injector.

Is it a diesel or petrol engine? and wich petrol engine if so?
