mine will do that if you code it to....

last year at a DE we tried all the codes and 00022 or 00032 would hold all gears to redline and you had to shift it up or down yourself
granted this is in a 2000 A8L
I ended up changing the stock code of 00002 to 00012 - since it offered a slight improvement and shifted automatically

Re: out of curiousity... what code was in there? and....
The code was 00002, changed it to 00022. With the inclement weather I wanted the stock soft shifts, but 1st gear hold in Tip.. Once the weather changes going to try 00032..
