There isn't an Allroad specific forum for the C5. Try the A6/S6 C5 platform discussion.
As an aside, the shafts are easy to remove in all 'A' series Audi's and the procedure is pretty much the same for all of them.
The outer can be done en-situ by removing the centre bolt from the driveshaft (very tight and difficult to do without a good rattle gun or a big breaker bar (I use an old sidchrome breaker bar with a yard long gal pipe to undo mine - car weight on wheels with centre caps removed)) - either a 17mm Allen key socket, or a 27mm (I think) Hex socket depending on factory or after market bolts.
Remove ABS sensor (or at least pull half way out if push fit like the B5's)
Then undoing the tie rod end and the top pinch bolt in the hub carrier and removing the tie rod end and upper control arms. Pulling the hub carrier forward on the lower control arms provides just enough room to remove the outer CV from the hub.
Remove the boot from the CV and run the hub bolt back through the CV hub to push (or pull) it off the shaft.
Note the orientation of the plastic shaped washers on the shaft end.
Remove rubber boot.
Install reverse of removal - use rubber mallet to knock CV back onto shaft
