FYI:You obviously haven't a clue on pricing for the 2001 Audi S8? But that's Ok... You could go to WWW.AUDIUSA.COM website to do your research.

First, toast's Dad has an S8, but I don't know where he was coming from (more)
Secondly, ALL S8's are ONLY available witha factory analog phone, which yes, does suck, but the guy did not put it in.
Thirdly, if there are only five in florida, florida is WAY behind. I just bought a Silver S8/Black Alacantra w/ every option (even the bs phone) today, and my dealer (The Exchange in Highland Park, IL) has three in stock (well, now two) and sold two other last week.
A rare beast yes, but not that rare.

The North Shore of Chicago certainly does seem to be over-populated with S8's if you believe the 600 per year number. At my daughter's ballet recital in Glencoe on Memorial Day weekend there were 4 in a line-up of fifty or so vehicles.
