2001 Silver A8L or 2001 Ming Blue S8???

2001 Silver A8L or 2001 Ming Blue S8???
Today went to see about upgrading my 2000 A6 4.2 to a A8L or S8.
I found two possible candidates, 2001 A8L Silver/Blue/2700 Miles/Cert and 2001 S8 Ming Blue/Gray S8/Nav/26k Miles/Cert.
The Silver A8L has those A8 Pie Plates that are not that popular and I agree that they don't make car seem all that appealing. The car seems so much bigger than the S8 and way bigger that my A6. The car might take on a whole new look with sportier wheels than the A8 Pie Plates. The selling point on this car is the very very low mileage.
The Ming Blue S8 appears to have swirl marks on the hood and minor scratches on the door handles. I feel that a good Zaino wax job would take care of that no problem. The dealer said that they have not detailed the car but other than that the car is clean. The two things that sell me on the S8 are the 18inch S8 wheels and those sport seats.
Unfortunately I did not get a chance to test drive the cars but from what I've read on the forum I cant wait.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated and what's up with a the single cup holder?

Price difference??
For me, I'd probably bite at the A8L, only because I am NOT a big fan of Ming......I agree, the Pie Plates are not hot when the car is stationary, but when they are spinning, they look VERY good.....
The other question is cost......What are they looking for price wise?? I'm sure the S8 will be a pretty penny more than the A8......

$47k for the A8L and $49k for the S8.
Also note that both cars have mileage left on the original warrantee's plus another 2yrs or 50k miles.
