'99 quattro stalls very occasionally

My 98 is doing the same thing lately, only more frequently. However, it also happens when sitting in "P". So it must not be the TC. I'll check the vacuum lines.

Could also be a vacuum leak. I had the same exact situation on a 5000 turbo model.

I took out and cleaned the ICV today, also replaced the front breather hose. But the engine still dies after about 1 minute at idle.

How do I check vacuum leak? There are so many hoses in different sizes.

BTW: my CEL has been on for a while(a few weeks before the engine died the first time), with code P1141. I cleaned the MAF sensor with MAF sensor cleaner, reset the code. But the CEL came back on after about 100 miles.
