Default 99 Trunk Lid won't seal, opens itself on bumps wtf
So apparently some suitcases got jammmed in on a recent airport run. The plastic on the lids latch got bent. Can I trim it away to get clearance around the metal latch? Or is the latch known to fail or get bent?

Are you saying that you bent just a bit of the plastic around the latch, or that you bent the entire plastic latch housing (on the trunk lid, correct?)
