Hi there, I am brand new to this site, not to Audi ownership though, I have an A8 as above and an A6, my A8 is a project after I rescued it from an idiot who trashed it for 2 years, I have sorted many problems but would like some help..........

The rear 2 breather pipes, 077-103-221-D & K, are completely perished, before I spend £70 on these relatively short pipes, can I use a regular straight piece of synthetic pipe?? Also and probably most important, what is the length and diameter's, are they different sizes at the 4 fitting points at the throttle body etc.....I need to know this before I strip it down to get at them.........

Both of the hoses have relatively sharp bends in them. Standard hoses will kink. However it is possible to use plastic bends and standard hose to replace them.

Many thanks for your reply, I think I may have a go at replacing with the red synthetic performance pipe I have left over as I have to buy a meter to replace the front breather pipe. Do you know the length and diameter of the rear breather pipes??
