Wow: who would ever expect such heresey from Paul?
IMHO, as the owner presently of a '98 A8 and '96 A6 (and four previous Audis), I think the Audi is THE BEST automobile without qualification. Nothing is more leading edge, nor more satisfying to drive, and nothing is even close to as beautiful inside and out. Yes, there are some service quirks and a dumbass dealer network, and sometimes I do tire of worrying over my transmission fluid, but I love my Audis!
