A8-fan - Do You Use White Allen to Service your A8?

Re: A8-fan - Do You Use White Allen to Service your A8?
I'm still in warranty, so I have no choice.
They are great for the most part. I have some issues that still need to be resolved though:
- Instrument cluster reads 25-30% high on the avg mpg
- whining noise upon startup on cold days (did it this morning again with a temp of 55), which they could not duplicate while having the car for a week ... see the recent thread on this (A8 turbo noise)
OTOH, they have always had a service loaner for me (usually a Jetta). They are professional and curteous and seem to be trying hard to make things right.
After my warranty period runs out I will probably still use them, although I am quite fond of Foreign Car Service as well (for my BMWs, but they service Audis as well). I have heard the name you mentioned, but know nothing of them. Talk to George at Foreign Car Service and tell him Antony sent you (from BMW CCA, or mention "evil M6 owner").

Thanks man...hope you get that whining noise fixed!
I stopped this guy last night walking into Wallgreens on 725, he was driving a 1999 Black A8, asked him how he liked his car, he had nothing but good things to say, former BMW owner etc. Don't see to many A8's in Dayton.
