A8 Funny (not HA, HA) problem
Good day,
I own a 2004 A8 petrol Quattro. I need help with a peculiar problem that started lately. Everything was fine until a few days ago..whilst driving the speedo would stop working...different warning lights would go on....the vehicle is still driving...the Rev counter still works. When I stop for a short time, like refueling..... switch off and start the car again...the problem is still there but now the power steering is not working...the car can still be driven..
But, when the car is switched off for a long period, like being parked overnight, then it will be fully operational when you start it in the morning. The problem then starts again after driving a couple of km's. It does not happen at set intervals...sometimes it happens quickly and sometimes after a longer period...but it happens always. Any help or suggestions ...HELP please..

Greetings! Two things: First, without having access to a Ross-Tech scanner, it's a random shot in the dark to diagnose your problem. Second, you posted in the D2 section of the forum. Since you have a 2004, it's a D3.
