I could not find a similar issue previously covered in the forum. I am having a starting issue that I believe is related to my security system. I have had my keys and the system reset and it has not fixed the problem.

If I leave my key in the ignition when the vehicle is parked and doors unlocked, i.e. in the garage overnight, the car will not start. It basically tries for a second and shuts off. I can then use my spare key and the car will start. The original key will work after that. If I leave the key in the ignition and doors unlocked for even 15 minutes, the no start problem will appear. If I remember to pull the key out of the ignition when the vehicle is parked, I have no problem with starting the car.

It's a manageable issue, but a definitely a nuisance. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
