I finally picked up the rubber mats from the dealer today. Total is about $150 CAD for both front and rear mats (tax included, and I saved shipping). The rubber mats replace the existing carpeted floor mats (the "all season" mats) and have velcro attachments glued to the under side (like the all season mats). The front mats fit perfectly and the rear is a bit too short for the A8L, but they can be secured by velcro so it won't be a major problem for me. So if you are interested, here are the part numbers:

Front 4D1-061-501-B-041 (fits both A8 and A8L and probably S8)
Rear 4D0=061-511-041 (fits A8 and probably S8, but a bit short for A8L)

PS I think they only come in black
