A8 stock strut/shock lengths

A8 stock strut/shock lengths
Anyone know the length compressed and fully extended of the stock D2 struts/shocks? Bilstein, H&R and KW lower the car, which I can't do because I drive dirt roads. I want to adapt the Koni FSD for an 05-07 A6 because it has similar wheel travel and weight as my (non-L) 2000 A8, and is valved for stock springs. I finally got the sizes from Koni, but no one at Audi "knows" or will tell me the above info on the stock A8 struts/shocks. Anyone have a D2 strut or rr shock laying around they can measure...? Trying to avoid pulling my car apart to measure before I can order new shocks.

Re: yes, what measurement do you need? End to end? Mine are still mounted with the springs though.
It would be great to know the length from the center of the bolt hole on the bottom of the shock/strut to where the car rests on the nut/washer threaded onto the pin at the top. In other words, the distance between the two "connection points" on the car. If you can measure this with the strut fully extended, then fully compressed, I'll also know the piston travel. Or just give me length extended, and measure how far you can depress the pin into the shock, that would also work. Obviously, with the spring seat in the way, you can't get exact measurements, but the best you can do would be hugely appreciated. Do you have front strut and back shock? Or just front struts?
