I was pulling into my friends place in Dearborn when this plow truck in the apartment complex reversed right into me. I saw that they were plowing and stopped. The driver just reversed into me regardless of my horn honking. She took out my drivers side headlight and buckled the hood and quarterpanel. Michigan in its great legal system, has a no-fault policy. So this ignoramous company gets to trash all the cars they want and not pay for it. My insurance company is not going to like this. I'm sick of idiots trashing my cars. Anyone have any ideas if I could get this stupid company to pay for this?

Still sucks about your car. Colorado was no-fault up until a year ago, too. Simply encourages drivers to go without insurance and drive crappy cars. As much as I hate trial lawyers (as a group, anyway), no-fault insurance sucks even more.

Nothing makes a good story like someone in a nice car being effected by a stupid law. Call the plow company and try to make a case. If not, let them know you will be calling everyone they hold contracts with in the city. You are going to organize a class action law suit, call the media, or threaten bodily harm on them.....

I did file a report. The police as usual were not as concerned about some out of state schmuck with an import luxury sedan. They were nice, but no real action besides an accident report number.

plow truck driver hit me in the rear. light damage. rear quarter panel, light, and bumper. luckily my HOA lady came to get me and i got the insurance info. got a call from his insurance saying i hit a parked car though but I'm guessing that's just a mistake.
