Default I figured as much, however,

when I told him I expected them to give us a good deal, given our previous purchase history, he starts in with the standard "you know we don't make any money on these cars - blah, blah blah, blah, blah..." yeah right!

If I end up buying a car from their inventory, and compromise on what I want, they better be ready to give me a very sweet deal!

Default Your options per edmunds- Total with Options $80,949 $75,189 $80,281

MSR mearly $81K, Dealer sticker $75K, so there is $6K right there. Suspect there is $8K in dealer gross profit.

Hmm, 200 times 8 not bespoke (at greenie's dlr) = 1,600 cars not sold yet, and no "fit" ?

Default I didn't know my little tantrum would stir up so much discussion.

I guess we all really love our cars. What a great 'neighborhood' to hang out in :-)

Default One last thought - Solar sunroof - Good or Bad?

I keep revisiting this - it's the one option that's keeping me from taking one of the cars they've found for me. I think I would miss being able to slide the shade back and look out w/o opening the glass.

Default Its such a personal thing. You could probably convince yourself

that you could live with the solar roof if you saw the EXACT car, sans the roof, that you wanted. On the other hand,..................! Good luck!
