Default It *is* a great neighborhood!

And we hope you become a permanent member soon!
FWIW, I'm glad I don't have the solar roof (even though I live in Hotlanta) - I'd miss the extra sunlight in winter.

Default Being in Cal would imagine you would enjoy the "blue sky" look and don't

care about heating your car while you are shopping during the winter. Personally, I prefer a "solid" sunroof. . . don't like the sun shining in my face.. . . and would rather polish and wax the entire top and not have to clean the glass of the sunroof. . . . picture yourself driving your A8L with both roofs on your way to Sacramento to pay your share of the state deficient.

Default I think good...

I have this on my 01 S8. I live in Tahoe where temps don't get too high, but the sun is blistering in the summer. It definitely makes the car a lot more habitable when you first get in it. I too initially missed not being able to see through it, but now I don't notice it at all. I even run with it open on Sunny winter days b/c the design is such that it doesn't blast in a lot of cold air even when you're zipping along.

As for your other issues, I haven't read all the responses here yet. I'd personally take whichever car is closest to your desires. If there are any add'l features you don't really want, only pay invoice for those (no profit). If they can't stomach that at the dealership, then they really don't want to make a deal too badly.

Default Thanks for the advice

There's no way I'll pay for options that I don't want - this may turn into the battle of the wills. Fortunately, I'm a mother of two teenagers - I'm in top battle form!
