I rearended someone doing about 6o mph. They were at a dead stop at an intersection and I slammed em. I knocked them through the intersection and they took off! Holy ****! No airbags went off either. Besides a few scratches (needed a front end repaint anyway from the brutal winter) and a flying front license plate holder there isn't much damage. I do feel some serious creaking now in the suspension though. Thank god the control arm sets will be here soon. I think thats the problem. I just can't believe they took off! CRAZY! Looks like they had some CHEEZE in the stash they didn't want to be found if the cops came.
I got lucky!! The A8 is a tank! I still can't stop laughing.

Here is he doctor in me talking, GET YOURSELF LOOKED AT!!!! Lots of trauma can occur to the body in
those types of accidents. Many will not show themselves for 72 hours. It is better to be looked at and cleared than to realize that you have a problem in a couple of days.

LOL! I hit the Olds almost at full speed. There was probably 20 ft between us once I hit the brakes!
I think that because my A8 bowed down so much in the front from the sudden hard braking, we hit bumper to bumper. When I got out to look I was shocked. I thought the whole front end would be smashed. I'm going to have to get the car checked just to make sure there are no internal issues. I have a HORRIBLE creaking from the front end. When I grab hold of either front tire and forcefully push/pull, I hear it too. My abs and brake lights in the cluster also go off now when I hit a bump.
Any ideas?
I'll post pics of the front end damage later tonight.
