Default ABS activated all the time?

My brake pedal vibrates and rises as I am completing my stop. It feels exactly and makes the same noise as when the ABS activates on slippery surface, except the brakes themselves are not pulsating and there is no slippery surface.

Default Re: Possibly a weak ABS sensor.

I had this same thing happen on my 200 TQ when I would come to a stop. The sensor was going bad and it couldn't pick up the signal at slow speeds so it thought the wheel was not turning and would activate the ABS system.

It doesn't activate the system just the pedal, it fluctuates or pulsates and it rises but the brakes are not pumping.

Default Have you cleaned the ABS sensors?

Procedure on audipages....if it kicks in below 5 MPH or so, it's most likely a dirty sensor.

Default This happened to me on one of my front wheels...

after I changed my control arms and tie rod ends. I figured that the pounding out of the pinch bolt dropped some crud into the abs sensor.

After I pulled the sensor out and blew out the hole - no problem.
