A few months back, I posted a message about an intermittent problem I was having with my brakes. The ABS light was coming on at various times and the ABS system was inoperative when that happened. Turns out it had a very simple explanation. The wire for the wheel speed sensor had somehow become loose and was rubbing on the front driveline. I had my business partner take me down to pick the car up and while she was there, she decided to take a little look around. She's driven my A-8 and also my previous car, a '98 A-6 2.8. Well, the next day she drove up to our office in a new Ming blue '02 A-6 2.7T. She said she drove the 3.0 but it was a stone. That's the good news. The bad news is that some unfortunate soul is going to end up with the '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee that she traded in!
